Have students use scissors to cut the painted/coloured paper into strips and assist them in making a paper chain as shown above to hang with the bunting.
Those that do not have glue can make a papier mache mix by mixing flour and water. It holds and dries well. If you are worried it will be visible you can add food colouring, paint, or eyeshadow to match the colour of paper you are using
This is all I will post today as it is very time consuming, it took my son and I over 3 hours as we mixed paint and painted and waited for paint to dry. Those that have coloured paper, gift paper, construction paper, tissue paper, or even coloured plastic bags can use that instead of painting

Once the bunting and paper chain is set up, the children can treat Mummy to a photo shoot on Mother's Day. Let them practice reading their cards from today so they can read their cards to Mummy on Sunday. Think about that story about Mary. That was such an important YES that gave us baby Jesus and Jesus was NEVER rude to his Mummy, he respected her and cared for her and listened to her. Can we be like Jesus and respect and love and listen to our Mummies? Tell Mummy THANK YOU for all the things she has done for you and show her how much you love her.
