This is a picture of St. Joseph holding baby Jesus. Do you remember the story of the nativity around Advent and Christmas? Who went with Mary to Bethlehem? (Joseph) Today is the feast day of St. Joseph. That means the Saint we're celebrating today is...St. Joseph.
St. Joseph is known as a guardian and protector, or someone who took care of, Mary and baby Jesus. He was also a carpenter, or someone who builds things out of wood like tables and chairs. He is the patron Saint of workers, families, fathers, and mommies with babies in their tummies.
