Easter Concert Practice

Let's practice I'm Alive:

• Children singing the "I'm Alive" and echo begins from 0:15
• "When you call on me" starts at a higher note, it is not spoken in monotone or shouted
• Refer to the lyrics prepared to remember which parts the children do not sing (they only sing what is highlighted in yellow)
• The last two "I'm Alive" are a bit louder than the rest of the song
• The final "I'm Alive" is the highest and longest part of the song

Those for choir, let's practice Risen:

• Remember that the choir gets quiet for the first solo, coming in after "Resurrected One" is shouted
• The "Jesus be lifted higher" carries the highest notes in the song
• The last two rounds of the chorus do not repeat "King Jesus, King Jesus is Alive". Those final parts instead leave out "alive" and continue onto Risen eg "King Jesus, King Jesus is......Risen, He's Risen, forever glorified"
• After the final chorus, the students come in with "Oh Oh Oh Oh Oh Oh Hallelujah" 3x. For the last one they carry the note in "Hallelujah" for about 4 beats.

Easter Joy

Jesus came to earth,

He could have saved Himself,
